Hello Columbia College. The American Model UN Delegates representing Italy are getting ready for a ride of a lifetime. In 9 days we will be leaving for Chicago Il, and as we count down the days, the expectations and nerves are rising. We are at the moment practicing doing the simulations so everyone will be ready in their respective roles as delegates to the Model UN. Final preparations are being made, warm clothes are being bought, suitcases are being dusted off and business attire are being sought. These last two months have been spent on preparing for roles that can never be fully prepared for. This is strictly a 'hands on' experiential learning exercise. It is the ultimate model for the 4 C's.

Over 135 universities and colleges will be attending with well over 1000 delegates in one huge convention building. Delegates from Taiwan, Ghana, Belgium and Nigeria, and China will be attending. Ivy league schools such as Notre Dame as well as Grinnell, Aquinas, Alverno - the only other all female college attending, Wabash, Loyola and Bayler. We will be the only college, the second year running, from South Carolina. A great honor your CC sisters will carry proudly.
